The limpid-eyed Janhvi tries hard with the Malayali accent, calling attention to the effort, while the chiselled Sidharth Malhotra gets to flaunt his abs. The Day 1 collection of the film seems to be getting strong. With positive reviews coming in, the film is expected to do better collection in the coming days.

Trade analyst Sumit Kadel called the film 'Fabulous' and wrote in his review, "Param Sundari is a quintessential Hindi romantic film where romance, music, two different cultures, and family emotions are beautifully blended. The film's songs, especially the one #Pardesiya sung by #SonuNigam is terrific, it has also been used as a BG score which elevates the movie important scenes . The cinematography and the beautiful locations in Kerala are the soul of the film, giving it a fresh and unique look." Param Sundari movie is expected to earn between Rs 9-10 crore at the box office on opening day. On the first day of advance booking, the Maddock film sold over 10,000 tickets on online platforms. Makers are expecting the film will pick on word of mouth.
