Pankaj Tripathi recalls his first pay cheque had Sridevi’s signature, heaps praise on Janhvi Kapoor: ‘She is very hardworking’

Only a few know that Pankaj Tripathi played a small role in Boney Kapoor and Sridevi-produced Hindi film Run. In a recent interview, the actor talked about receiving his first paycheck for Run and working with Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor in the movie Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.

Pankaj mentioned that his first paycheck as an actor had Sridevi’s signature on it. Years later, the actor played Janhvi’s father in Gunjan Saxena. Talking about Jahnvi, Pankaj shared that she is a ‘good girl’ and ‘very hardworking’ and respects him a lot. When asked if it is normal for actors to visit someone’s house to prepare for a role, Pankaj shared that it is not normal. “We actors meet in the office for reading sessions, but she made an effort, and the director told me that she wanted to visit my house. I said, ‘Yes she can come,'” he said.

Pankaj Tripathi went on to share that he will always help and respect his co-actors and upcoming actors. “I will always want them to do well in life and learn art in the best possible manner,” shared Pankaj in Hindi. He also added that he often gets to work with newcomers and makes sure to make them feel comfortable.
