Over 500 costumes for wedding sequence in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirziya’

Authentic costumes were required for each and every person, and a number of junior artistes were involved. A professional pagdi maker was called to make over 500 pagdis for the scene. More than 500 jootis and costumes were also arranged. Earlier, the director had also ordered for five trucks of marigold flowers.

‘Mirziya’ is one of the most anticipated films for debutants Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher.
