After her role as an ISI agent in the Emmy award winning terrorism drama Homeland, the beautiful Nimrat will now be seen playing a lawyer in Anthony D’Souza’s biopic on the cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. News reports state that while all the other characters in the film are inspired by real people, her character may be fictitious but it takes the story forward.

The film stars Emraan Hashmi in the title role, while Prachi Desai will be seen playing his first wife Naureen. Amidst all this, the hunt is still on for an actress to play the role of Sangeeta Bijlani, though rumours state that Kareena Kapoor is signed for the part.
