Sony TV is all set to air a special episode of the dance-based reality show Super Dancer Chapter 5, celebrating veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty’s 50 years in the film industry. A promo for the upcoming episode shows the legendary star setting the stage ablaze with his spirited dance moves. Judge Shilpa Shetty even joins him to groove on his iconic track “I Am A Disco Dancer.” In a new promo of Super Dancer Chapter 5, Mithun is seen singing “I Am A Disco Dancer” and matching steps with Shilpa. Everyone on the set, including judges Geeta Kapoor and Marzi Pestonji, were seen cheering for them in the clip. Sharing the teaser on their official Instagram account, Sony TV wrote, "Can’t wait for this amazing dance of Mithun Da and Shilpa. In fact, one of the Super Dancer contestants even channeled Mithun Da, perfectly recreating his look. In another teaser, the veteran actor is seen dancing on stage with young contestant Aadhyayasree, who has been winning the hearts of judges and audiences alike with her outstanding performances each week. Super Dancer Chapter 5 airs on Sony Entertainment Television every Saturday and Saturday at 8 pm.
