Metro In Dino Box Office Collection Day 2: Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino, which received mixed reviews, had a poor start at the box office. However, strong word-of-mouth helped the film nearly double its opening day collection on Saturday. Starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma, the film saw approximately 71.43% growth in business.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Metro In Dino earned around Rs 6 crore on its second day at the box office, following an opening day collection of Rs 3.35 crore. This brought the film’s total to ₹9.5 crore.

Indian Express’ film critic Shubhra Gupta gave Metro In Dino three stars and wrote in her review, “Sara Ali Khan plays a Kareena Kapoor-coded character in Anurag Basu’s annoying and exhilarating film. This really should be a series, because life is unruly and ungainly, spilling over the edges, annoying and exhilarating, in equal measure, and when Metro In Dino is at its best, it catches all those beats.”

Metro In Dino is the spiritual sequel of Anurag Basu’s 2007 hit Life In A Metro. The film also stars Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Saswata Chatterjee, Darshana Bainik, Kush Jotwani and Rohan Gurbaxani.
