Makkhi director S.S. Rajamouli to make most expensive period drama

<i>Bahubali</i> is said to be a period film set in eighth century AD.

S.S. Rajamouli,the celebrated director of Makkhi,has declared production that the budget for his next movie to be made in three languages stands at Rs. 125 crore. Effectively making the film titled Bahubali,the most expensive Indian film ever made.

Scheduled to go on floor in the next few months,Bahubali is said to be a period film set in eighth century AD. The film will showcase never seen before spectacular sets and special effects taking it up to the next level.

Featuring Prabhas,Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati in pivotal roles,the film will be unlike his previous projects that have released in one language and dubbed thereafter. Bahubali will officially be a trilingual project targeted at cross section of audiences in the country.
