Kumar Sanu stuns everyone by crooning Aashiqui 2 song Tum Hi Ho, watch video

Music director and singer Mithoon recently graced the Indian Idol 14 stage and sang his popular song “Tum Hi Ho” along with judges Kumar Sanu, Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani. Before the performance, an excited Mithoon praised Sanu.

In a video which is making the rounds of the internet, Mithoon is heard saying, “I have learnt a lot while making the song Tum Hi Ho. And if we get into the roots of the song, the foundation of Aashiqui 2 is the original Aashiqui which involved notable names like Nadeem-Shravan ji and our living legend, Kumar Sanu ji.”

He added, “My personal connection with this song also goes deep as my father, Naresh Sharma ji was responsible for the music arrangements on the song and has worked on many projects with Sanu Da.”

Arijit Singh crooned the Mithoon composition “Tum Hi Ho”. The song is part of Mohit Suri’s movie Aashiqui 2, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.

After praising Kumar Sanu, Mithoon held the veteran singer’s hand and took him to the stage. Sanu then sang “Tum Hi Ho” and Shreya Ghoshal joined him. The crowd cheered for the duo and everybody had smiles on their faces.

Sharing the video, Sony TV had written on social media, “Aashiqui OG aur Aashiqui 2 ka milan, Sanu da aur Shreya Ghoshal ki dilkash gayaki ne ek baar phir sab ko deewana kiya!”

Kumar Sanu sang beautiful songs for the musical hit Aashiqui. The movie, directed by Mahesh Bhatt, is well-remembered for its plot, the chemistry between Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal, and the songs.
