Actors Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan attended the SCREEN Live event in New Delhi on Tuesday. Besides talking about her upcoming film Loveyapa, nepotism, beauty standards, and more, Khushi also opened up her sister Janhvi Kapoor’s experiments with food.

When late actor Sridevi’s younger daughter was asked about her sister’s weird food combinations, Khushi revealed, “My sister is a huge foodie and she has been feeding me since I was young. I am like the guinea pig in the house. During Covid, I gained so much weight because she would just go in the kitchen mix all the ingredients, and put it in my mouth. She loves food and also feeding people, so she comes up with some interesting combinations.”

For the unversed, in an earlier interview with Curly Tales, Janhvi Kapoor revealed that she is a big-time foodie. She had said, “I am a very messy eater. I love eating paya and pav, junglee mutton, and pulao when not dieting. I love spicy food. I follow recipes from Instagram, and I am a big-time foodie. I usually mix all the food on my plate and eat.” Janhvi also shared how her father had introduced her to the combination of mixing idli with chicken curry.

During SCREEN Live, Khushi Kapoor also spoke about her father, Boney Kapoor, and said, “He is the star of the house, in my opinion. He is bigger than all of us. He is the biggest diva, actor—everything, it’s him. He played a role in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. He didn’t have many scenes in the film. He had to shoot in Delhi, and suddenly, I saw 13 large suitcases being moved from his closet. I realized he had packed his entire wardrobe for the film.”

Loveyapa also stars Junaid Khan in the lead role. The film, directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Madhu Mantena, releases on February 7.
