Katrina Kaif thinks ‘baraati dancer’ Vicky Kaushal gets carried away on screen sometimes, but even she was impressed with ‘Tauba Tauba’: ‘Shukar hai’

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s love story is no less than a fairytale. They appeared to hit it off on a live show, and began dating some time later. While they kept their relationship a secret for the duration of the pandemic, they tied the knot in December 2021. Since then, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have proven to be a power couple in many ways, and often speak warmly about each other. Now, as Vicky gears up for the release of his upcoming film Bad Newz, he recently told Film Companion what Katrina thought about the viral song “Tauba Tauba.”

Talking about Katrina’s reaction to “Tauba Tauba,” Vicky Kaushal shared, “The biggest relief was when she approved of the song. She was like, ‘This is good’. And I was like, ‘Shukar hai (thank God)’.”

He said that Katrina’s approval matters a lot to him because she feels that because he isn’t a trained dancer, he gets carried away sometimes. Opening up about this, Vicky said, “She keeps telling me, ‘I know you love to dance. But you are a baraati dancer, and not a trained one’. That’s because I get carried away, and she tells me that is fine in real life, but I need to preserve the energy for the camera.”

About her reaction to “Tauba Tauba,” he said, “This time, she was happy because I held it back in terms of expression, moves, and attitude. She was talking on those lines when she said that dancing is good. And she was happier on that front that I kept it cool.”

Performed by Karan Aujla, the song was released some days ago, and has already inspired a wave of Reels on Instagram.

Vicky also Chhaava with Rashmika Mandanna releasing this year. Katrina, on the other hand, will reportedly be seen starring in Jee Le Zaraa and Tiger vs Pathaan.

Military cadets disabled in training can now avail medical facilities under ECHS

The Defence Ministry has approved medical facilities for officer cadets with disabilities during military training. This follows reports of discharged cadets due to medical reasons. The scheme offers free treatment at military and empanelled hospitals, with waived subscription fees of Rs 1.2 lakh. However, cadets will not receive ESM status and its accompanying benefits.
