Katrina Kaif fulfilled wish of doing action film with ‘Phantom’

Katrina Kaif who is currently gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film, ‘Phantom’, apparently had a personal agenda behind taking up the role. The actress was always keen to appear in a role that required her to do some serious action.

Katrina who will be playing the role of Nawaz Mistry in the film always harboured a fascination for guns as well. She registered for shooting classes in order to fit into her role.

Though Katrina has also been part of films like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Jab tak Hai Jaan’, she never got the opportunity to fire a gun before. The actress also undertook cardio and weight training to enable her to perform the stunts.

Also starring Saif Ali Khan, Kabir Khan’s ‘Phantom’ will hit screens on August 28.
