Kashmera Shah says she apologised to Govinda but he didn’t let her touch his feet

Govinda’s unexpected appearance at Krushna Abhishek’s sister Arti Singh’s wedding caught everyone off guard. This surprising gesture marked the end of an 8-year feud between Govinda and Krushna. The feud started after a war of words between Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah and Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja, which then escalated. Previously, Kashmera had said that she would touch Govinda’s feet and apologise of he attended Arti’s wedding and in a recent interview, she said that she indeed touched his feet.

In an interview with Times of India, Kashmera said that she was glad he attended the wedding. Describing their interaction, Kashmera explained that she was the only one welcoming guests at the entrance and Krushna was on the stage with Arti. When Govinda entered the venue, she said that it felt surreal and she immediately bowed down saying namaste. The actor said that she walked up to Govinda and took him to the stage. When she bent down to touch his feet, Govinda stopped her and said ‘jeete raho, khush raho.’ “I bent down to touch his feet. That is the apology,” Kashmera said.

She also introduced her six-year-old twins to Govinda. The Hero No 1 actor hugged them and blessed them, leaving Kashmera emotional. Govinda attended the wedding but his wife Sunita Ahuja was missing from the ceremony. When asked if she was expecting Sunita to attend the wedding, Kashmera said, “I wasn’t. Unka gussa rehna banta hai. (She has the right to be upset.)” She said that she will sort her issues with Sunita later and called her an ‘alpha’ woman. Kashmera also hinted that Sunita is angry because of the 2018 tweet incident.

For the unversed, the fued between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek began years ago. In 2018, Govinda’s wife, Sunita, got upset over a tweet from Kashmera, about people dancing for money. Sunita thought it was aimed at Govinda, so they cut ties with Krushna and Kashmera.

Krushna also interacted with the media and said, “Mama aaye bahut khushi hui. I was so happy to see him. Wo dil ki baat hai. Humara emotional connect hai. (Mama came, we are happy. I was so happy to see him. It’s an emotional connect.)”
