Kartik Aaryan, who is currently promoting his upcoming film Chandu Champion, recently spoke about his brand endorsements and said that while he appeared in an ad for a fairness cream a few years ago, he stopped endorsing the brand after he understood “that it could be wrong”. Kartik also spoke about rejecting pan masala brands which are promoted by almost all major Bollywood male celebrities.

In a chat with The Lallantop, the actor said, “I did an ad for a face cream a long time ago but then I stopped it. I was not convinced with it. I did not renew it because then I understood that it could be wrong.” In 2018, after the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Kartik was seen endorsing a product named ‘Fair and Handsome’ which was targeted towards men trying to make their skin fairer. Two years later, the product’s name was changed to ‘Glow and Handsome’.

Kartik Aaryan then shared that he has been offered a lot of pan masala brands but he has never signed on to them. “I have been offered a lot of brands that I have refused. Like those supari, pan masala brands. I don’t relate to those things. And I try that as long as I can, I refuse these things,” he said. When asked about other actors who actively endorse many such brands, the actor said, “I can’t say who is right or wrong, everyone has their own way of thinking. But this doesn’t fit my plans.”
