Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan hint at an upcoming project but he has a condition: ‘I might not live with you’

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who have been married for 11 years, will soon be seen together in a film. The two actors have worked in films like Tashan, Agent Vinod and Kurbaan, and have also appeared in a few ads together, but have not been in the same movie since 2012. In a recent interview, Saif shared that they are in the process of finalising a project together and shared, “We are thinking of doing something.”

Kareena, who was also part in the interview with Film Companion, said that Saif was not interested in them sharing screen space previously as most of their films together did not work at the box office. “Earlier he would be like ‘no, no, it’s not good to work… it’s not interesting and we shouldn’t work together’. Maybe because Tashan or Agent Vinod didn’t do well. Now we have liked something together so let’s hope things work out,” she shared.

Saif added that the project “takes into account that we are married” and shared, “We are actually working on something and trying to come up with a… something that takes into account that we are married, so play against that a little bit. It is a work in progress.”

Kareena shared that it would be “fun” to work together “at this stage” and clarified, “Like when we are comfortable as actors also and do something different.” However, Saif jokingly added that they might not live together when they are working together. “I might not live with you when I am making the movie, I have decided. I will take another room,” he said and Kareena laughed it off by by saying “It’s fine.”

Kareena and Saif first started dating when they met on the set of Tashan. The film, by Vijay Krishna Acharya, was a colossal flop. Their collaboration with Sriram Raghavan on Agent Vinod also did not land at the box office. However, Kurbaan, fared decently at the box office.
