Kangana Ranaut opts out of Reema Kagti’s ‘Mr. Chaalu’

Reema Kagti’s directorial ‘Mr. Chaalu’, revolving around the life of a conman, has been facing issues since its inception. In fact, now the director is on a hunt for the lead stars, since her male lead Saif Ali Khan too backed out of the film, a few months ago. However, rumour has it that Priyanka Chopra and Fawad Afzal Khan have been approached for the roles, but there hasn’t been any official announcement about the same.

Apart from them, there were other actresses who were signed for supporting roles which included Richa Chadda, Pooja Bhatt and Sarah Jane Dias. The film is produced by Excel Entertainment.

Ironically, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan are paired opposite each other in the upcoming Sujoy Ghosh directorial ‘Devotion of Suspect X.’
