After batting for Priyanka Chopra’s comment on being ‘pushed in a corner’ in Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut has now reacted to AR Rahman‘s old statement against the Hindi film industry. A Twitter page posted an old interview of Rahman where he spoke about why he had not been very active in Bollywood of late and how “a whole gang (in Bollywood) is working against him”. Taking a dig at star kids, Kangana mentioned how gifted people are ‘bullied and harassed’ in the industry.

She tweeted, “Bolly kids grow up being obsessed with talent, their parents applaud their every word /move and they too start to believe that lie, until a really gifted person shows up, smacking them right in their faces and raising the bar high it challenges everything they ever believed.”

In a follow up tweet, she further wrote, “To be true, and they succumb to what all undeserving, immature, entitled people succumb to in such a situation (jealousy). They ‘GANG UP’ bully and harass even kill those who they see as gifted, Amadeus is a film about this, my most favourite film.”

The original post shared by the Twitter page Cinemania read, “In July 2020, when #ARRahman was asked why he was doing more Tamil films and not many Hindi films, the #Oscar-winning composer replied: “I don’t say no to good movies, but I think there is a whole gang (in #Bollywood) working against me and spreading some false rumours (about me). People are expecting me to do stuff, but there is another gang of people preventing that from happening. It is fine because I believe in destiny. I believe that everything comes from God.”

On Tuesday, after Priyanka Chopra opened up about moving to the US after being ‘cornered’ by people in Bollywood, actor Kangana Ranaut claimed filmmaker Karan Johar ‘banned’ her in the Hindi film industry. She took to Twitter to call out the filmmaker for ‘harassing’ the ‘vulnerable outsiders’.

In a series of tweets, Kangana shared what Priyanka has said about leaving Bollywood. She wrote, “This is what ⁦ @priyankachopra has to say about bollywood, people ganged up on her, bullied her and chased her out of film industry” a self made woman was made to leave India. Everyone knows Karan Johar had banned her.”

Kangana also accused Karan of ‘harassing’ Priyanka in her tweets. “Media wrote extensively about her fall out with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK and movie mafia Cruella who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders saw a perfect punching bag in PC and went all out in harassing her to a point where she had to leave India.” The Manikarnika actor demanded Karan Johar be ‘held accountable’ for ‘harassing outsiders’ in Bollywood.
