Kangana Ranaut says she had ‘no other option’ than to do Rascals and Double Dhamaal: ‘Everyone takes one wrong decision..’
In the video, Kangana Ranaut said that her doing these films cannot be called a 'mistake and that it was 'part of the plan'.

The road to success is never easy and when it is Bollywood, you have to be prepared for what’s coming next. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is no stranger to the labyrinth that is Bollywood. While some have it easy, it takes a while for a few. Kangana Ranaut surely hasn’t had it easy. She was just 17 when she first made her Bollywood debut with the 2006 film Gangster. The film was a critical and commercial success and paved her way in the film industry.
Years later after Gangster, Kangana did movies like Rascals and Double Dhamaal. An actress who played credible roles in films (Shanaya in the 2008 film Fashion, for which she won the National Film Award, Rehana in Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Neha in Life in a… Metro), was playing side roles in male-led movies such as Double Dhamaal and Rascals. Surprisingly, both these movies were released in 2011.
Kangana has proved her acting mettle time and again with her choices of roles and is known for going to great lengths to make her roles look convincing on screen.
So yesterday, when a fan page shared a video of the actress talking about the ‘wrong decisions of her life’, she was quick to react to it. The video showed an old interview of the Tanu Weds Manu actress speaking her heart out on doing films like Double Dhamaal and Rascals. She said, “Life me kabhi na kabhi har koi ek wrong decision leta hai. I did too. Kuch log kahenge ki wo wrong decision hai lekin mai unhe wrong nahi maanti. Ab log kehte hai ki tumhe Rascals, Double Dhamaal jaisi film nahi karni chaiye thi and that I deserved better (Everyone takes one wrong decision once in a life. I did too. Some people will say it was a wrong decision but I don’t consider it wrong. Now people say that I shouldn’t have done films like Rascals, Double Dhamaal and that I deserved better).”
In the video, Kangana said that she had ‘no other option’ than to do those films and that she never considered any job small. “When I had no option I never considered any job small, and whatever payments I received for the same, I used it all to direct a short film in California. I was also able to fulfil my dreams with that money, like going to New York Film Academy. So we can’t say that it was a mistake. It was a ‘part of the plan'”, she added.
Many fans reacted to the video and called her “Queen for a reason” and that she “inspires” them.

The Simran actress took to Instagram and reacted to the video saying, “Even when I knew I deserved better I never grew frustrated or cynical…above all I never made any wrong decisions ever.” She also thanked her fans for remembering her old interview clips.
Kangana Ranaut’s last venture Dhakaad poorly fared at the box office. Now she has Emergency, Tejas, Chandramukhi 2, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda and The Incarnation: Sita in her kitty.
