Kajol, Kriti Sanon to headline fourth edition of Expresso; Do Patti co-stars to be live in conversation
Kajol and Kriti Sanon will be in conversation about the evolution of Hindi film industry, their careers and take a deep dive into how their heart dictates their art at the fourth edition of Expresso.

It’ll be the coming together of two generations on one stage as actors Kajol and Kriti Sanon will be the star guests on the fourth edition of Expresso. The six-part Indian Express series, which features insightful conversations with experts from the world of entertainment, luxury, art and culture, will be the first-ever live on-stage conversation between Kajol and Kriti, co-stars in the upcoming Netflix thriller Do Patti
To be held at the Taj Land’s End, on Monday, Kajol and Kriti will kick off the fourth edition of the series with Shubhra Gupta, Film Critic and Senior Columnist, The Indian Express and Vandita Mishra, National Opinion editor, The Indian Express, as moderators.
While this is the first time the duo will be sharing an Indian Express stage, Kajol and Kriti have previously worked in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dilwale. The two stars will be conversation about the evolution of Hindi film industry, and by extension, their careers and take a deep dive into their professional lives, challenges, navigating lows, maintaining stardom and how their heart dictates their art.

Do Patti will mark many firsts for the cast and crew, especially Kajol and Kriti Sanon. Kajol, in her career spanning more than 30 years, will be seen as a cop for the first time. One of the biggest stars of the 90s, Kajol is known for featuring in some of the most acclaimed, iconic and blockbuster films of the last three decades.
Kriti Sanon, who debuted in the Hindi film industry last decade, had been on an incredible run in 2024 with consecutive acclaimed outings after films like Crew and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Do Patti marks her production debut with Blue Butterfly Films as well as the first time she plays a double role.

In the Kanika Dhillon scripted thriller, directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, Kriti Sanon appears in a double role as rival sisters. The film will be released globally on Netflix on October 25, making Kriti’s third screen outing of the year.
Expresso kickstarted with much fanfare in April with Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi followed by the second edition in July which featured actor Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. The third edition featured the father-daughter duo of veteran screenwriter Javed Akhtar and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar.
