Superstar Shah Rukh Khan graced the MET Gala 2025 sporting an all black outfit with chunky neck accessories. Styled by Sabysachi, this look of SRK invited mixed reactions from fans all over the world. While many of them were not happy with the appearance SRK donned for this international representation, a few others did compliment the actor for keeping his swag and charm intact. Interestingly, Shah Rukh’s best friend Kajol also reacted to his MET Gala look by sharing a picture where she was dressed up similarly.

Posting a picture of Twinning with SRK’s MET Gala look on Instagram, Kajol wrote, “Hmm, spot the difference…” Reacting to these photos, a fan wrote, “Please make a movie together, we miss you.” A second user commented, “The post I’ve been longing to see.” A third fan also commented, “If Kajol was at the Met Gala, she would have wowed everyone.”

Shah Rukh Khan also took to Instagram, talking about his look at the MET Gala 2025. He wrote, “Thanks, Sabyasachi and your whole team for introducing me to the Met Gala. It’s not my ‘space’ but you made me feel so comfortable… because you, like me, believe…Style & Fashion…is just being who you are. And all of you made me feel like a ‘K’!”

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have been quite a hit pairing on the celluloid, their films Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and even Dilwale have been quite loved.

Other than Shah Rukh Khan, other Indian celebrities present at the MET Gala 2025 were actress Kiara Advani and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh also walked the red carpet, and his traditional look at the MET invited lots of appreciation.
