Akshay Kumar-Arshad Warsi's Jolly LLB 3 receives U/A certificate by the CBFCJolly LLB 3 Movie Review, Rating and Release Live Updates: Jolly LLB 3, the third installment of Subhash Kapoor’s courtroom comedy-drama, is finally in theaters. This time, the film brings together both the franchise’s beloved lawyers–Arshad Warsi from Jolly LLB (2013) and Akshay Kumar from Jolly LLB 2 (2017)–in a legal face-off.

The film also marks the return of actor Saurabh Shukla as the hilariously endearing Judge Sunder Lal Tripathi. Actors Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao will reprise their roles as Pushpa Pandey and Sandhya, respectively.
Much before its release, the film was in controversy for allegedly mocking the judiciary, especially through its promotional content and the song “Bhai Vakeel Hai.” However, the Bombay and Allahabad High Courts dismissed the pleas, with the judges remarking that satire does not weaken the judiciary.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) cleared the film with a U/A certificate and a “16+ advisory,” after minor edits.
The film will have nearly 8000 shows across India. The advance bookings for the film began on September 15 and has shown strong traction with a collection of nearly Rs 5 crore (including blocked seats). The film’s ticket price between Rs 130 to Rs 1500.
Both Jolly LLB and Jolly LLB 2 were commercial success. Experts believe the third installment of the film will open between Rs 3 to Rs 5 crore with its first day box office collection strongly depending on the initial reviews and word-of-mouth.

As per trade tracker Sacnilk, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s Jolly LLB 3 has raked in Rs 5.39 crore at the Indian box office so far.

Trade site Sacnilk.com shared that by 11 am, Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi's film Jolly LLB 3 earned around Rs 0.81 Cr India net. The film is expected to perform well on its first day at the box office.
Sacnilk.com shared that Aamir Khan's film Sitaare Zameen Par had collected Rs 10.70 crores net on its opening day with Rs 3.31 crores gross in advance sales on around 3300 screens. Jolly LLB 3 is reportedly releasing in around 3500 screens, and with minimal competition from Bollywood films, and thus it is expected to fare better than Aamir's film. The pre-sales of Jolly LLB 3 was likely around the Aamir Khan-starrer, and thus opening collection of Akshay's film can be in the range of Rs 11-12 crores net.
Indian Express' film critic Shubhra Gupta gave the Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi film 2 stars and wrote in her Jolly LLB 3 movie review, "Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi combine forces to deliver weakest film of franchise. Jiostar India Private Limited (plaintiff), which holds the exclusive rights to the Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi-starrer, moved the Court arguing that piracy poses an imminent risk since infringing websites routinely make available films on the day of their theatrical release. The Delhi High Court recently granted an ex-parte ad-interim injunction restraining more than 20 rogue websites from illegally hosting or streaming the upcoming Bollywood film Jolly LLB 3, which is slated for release on September 19. Justice Tejas Karia passed the order on a suit filed by . The Court directed domain name registrars (DNRs), internet service providers (ISPs) and government authorities including the Department of Telecommunications and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to ensure immediate blocking of the identified domains.
