Jaya Bachchan isn’t chill ‘by any stretch of the imagination’, says Shweta Bachchan; Navya Nanda says her friends go to her for relationship advice

Navya also mentioned that Jaya really enjoys hanging out with “younger people” and Jaya explained why. “It’s also me as a person but also as an actor. It’s very interesting for me to see how young people talk, their body language… On the sets, I like to be friends with the assistant directors,” she said.

Navya shared that she finds it really “funny” when Jaya’s closest friends tell her off. “They can talk to her in a certain way that we can’t talk to her in, and I find that’s so funny because they tick her off about certain things,” she said, and Jaya added, “Friends like these keep you grounded.” Navya mentioned that she enjoys it when Shweta’s friends make fun of her, as it makes her feel like she is living “vicariously” through them.

In the same episode, Jaya also shared that her husband Amitabh Bachchan is her “best friend” and she does not keep any secrets from him. “My closest friends are inside my house. It’s true, my husband is my best friend. I don’t hide anything from him,” she said.
