Jacqueline Fernandez drops new photos from Cannes 2024: ‘I was nervous’

Jacqueline Fernandez, who recently walked the ramp at Cannes Film Festival, shared a bunch of new photos from the red carpet.

Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez made a stunning appearance at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, attending the premiere of The Substance. The Sri Lankan beauty, on Tuesday, took to her Instagram handle to treat her fans to new photos and videos from the event and in the visuals, Jacqueline seems to be having a gala time at Cannes.

While some photos are from her hotel room, two clips feature Jacqueline on the red carpet. “@festivaldecannes where dreams meet reality! Thank you @bmwindia_official for making me a part of this historical and visually stunning spectacle where we celebrate film fashion and fabulous moments! Ps I was nervous,” she captioned the post.

 

The Housefull 2 actor, on Monday, shared a reel of her sartorial journey on the prestigious red carpet, expressing gratitude to BMW India for the “exquisite experience”. Clad in a mesmerising off-shoulder gown by Mikael D Couture, Jacqueline exuded elegance and glamour as she posed for the cameras. Keeping her accessories minimal, she opted for jewellery from Hassanzade Jewellery, letting her ensemble take center stage.

Speaking to ANI ahead of the event, the actor shared her excitement to attend the festival and represent the Southeast Asian diaspora on a global platform. “It’s an honour to walk the prestigious red carpet where many legends have already walked,” she said.

 

Making her Cannes debut in 2015 as a guest of the Queen of Malaysia, Jacqueline Fernandez has continued to raise the bar for Indian representation at the esteemed film festival.
