Jaat trailer: The film, also starring Randeep Hooda, Saiyami Kher, and Vineet Kumar Singh, is all set to release in theatres on April 10.

Jaat box office collection day 15: Sunny Deol's film has earned Rs 80 cr in India.

The trailer for Sunny Deol’s much-awaited film Jaat released on Monday. The film marks the actor’s return to big screen after his 2023 film Gadar 2, which was a massive commercial hit. Sunny Deol has collaborated with South film director, Gopichand Malineni, who is known for films like Veera Simha Reddy, Krack and Bodyguard. While Sunny Deol leads the film, actor Randeep Hooda is all set to play the antagonist. The film, composed by Thaman S, also stars Viineet Kumar Siingh, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, and Swarupa Ghosh.

The nearly three minute long video starts with a series of crime, introducing Randeep Hooda’s character who worships Ravan. A voice in the background says, ‘Yeh Rana Tunga ki Lanka hai, yaha raaste kilometre mein nahi, biche hue laasho mein kiye jaate hai’ (This is Rana Tunga’s Lanka, here people don’t measure the distance in kilometres but by the number of dead bodies found in the region).’

The next frame introduces Sunny Deol, who soon after entering the frame schools the goons for their misbehavior. Sunny Deol (seemingly playing a police officer) introduces himself as a fearless Jaat, who is on a mission to fix Rana’s cruelty.

Sunny is seen picking several heavy objects to beat up the goons around him, threatening Randeep Hooda’s character. He is heard saying, “Mai tujhe aur tere Lanka ko yehi phook dunga (I will burn you and your Lanka to ashes).”

The trailer then gives a glimpse of a face off between Sunny and Randeep with the actor concluding the trailer with his punchline: “Yeh dhai kilo ke hath ki taaqat pura North dekh chuka hai, ab South dekhega.”

The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind films like Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade, Jr NTR’s Janatha Garage and Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata, among others.
