Isha Ambani’s Met Gala 2025 necklace is exact replica of Anne Hathaway’s Ocean’s 8 diamonds; she says they belong to mom Nita Ambani

The necklace in its original form does not exist anymore. But, during the making of Ocean’s 8, Cartier remade the necklace based on the necklace’s archival pictures. The size of the necklace was reduced by 15-20 percent, as it had to be worn by Anne Hathaway in the film. The original necklace was designed for a man. In 2018, Vogue reported that the necklace made by Cartier cost around $150 million.

Isha, while talking about her jewellery at the Net Gala revealed that the jewellery belonged to her mother, Nita Ambani. One can assume that Ambanis were also inspired by the classic Cartier designed and got the necklace made.

This was Isha’s fifth time at the Met Gala. Her outfit was designed by Anamika Khanna, and she was styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania. In a video shared on Anaita’s social media, she shared that the outft was finished and tried just two days ago so everything was quite last minute.

Apart from Isha, there were many Indian celebrities at the Met Gala in 2025. Shah Rukh Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, Priyanka Chopra, Kiara Advani also made an appearance at the event.
