Inside Rakulpreet Singh-Jackky Bhagnani’s bachelors’ getaway in Thailand ahead of Goa wedding

Actress Rakulpreet Singh is all set to tie the knot with long-time beau, actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani on 21st February. The two-day intimate celebration will happen in Goa where Rakul and Jackky will take the plunge in the presence of friends and family. Last week, it was reported that the bride-to-be Rakul kickstarted her wedding festivities with an Akhand Path. Following this, the soon-to-be bride and groom have headed to Thailand for a fun bachelor’s getaway before they exchange vows at their beach wedding later this month.

Rakulpreet and Jackky are enjoying this getaway with their friends. Actress Pragya Jaiswal shared glimpses from the trip where the group was seen on a yacht soaking up the sun.

Talking about the wedding, Rakul and Jackky were initially going to have an international destination wedding. But after PM Modi urged families to host their wedding festivities within India, the couple chose to change the wedding venue. A source close to the couple had revealed that Rakul and Jackky were to get married in the Middle East initially, the two had even been planning for it over six months. But in December last year when Modiji asked influential families to host festivities within the country, the couple chose to switch the venue.

As per reports, the wedding festivities will happen between the 19th to the 22nd of February. Though many other details have been kept under wraps, the couple plans to keep the wedding a hush-hush affair. A grand reception for Bollywood is also being planned for a later date at one of Mumbai’s popular locations.

On the work front, Rakul will be seen in Indian 2 alongside Kamal Haasan, while Jackky’s next production Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is slated to release on Eid 2024.
