Ace director Anurag Kashyap said he is going though an emotional time as his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, is all set to marry her long-term boyfriend Shane Gregoire. Their pre-wedding festivities are on. After haldi and cocktail celebrations, the couple hosted their mehendi ceremony on Tuesday. The inside photos made their way to the social media and we got to see an emotional Anurag Kashyap dancing with daughter Aaliyah. Anurag was also seen shaking a leg with rumoured couple Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina in a clip.

Aaliyah and Shane were seen twinning in teal-hued traditional outfits at their mehendi.

Anurag Kashyap has been married twice, once to Aarti Bajaj and then to actor Kalki Koechlin; he has daughter Aaliyah Kashyap from his first wedding. The happy dad was seen dancing his heart out as he welcomed the guests for the event. Later in an inside clip from the celebrations, an emotional Anurag was seen hugging his daughter.

Aaliyah took to his Instagram to share some official photos from the celebrations. “Mehendi & masti time 💚,” read the post caption. The photos features Aaliyah’s mom Aarti Bajaj, her BFFs actor Khushi Kapoor, fashion blogger Muskan Chanana, Imtiaz Ali’s daughter Ida Ali, and actor Vedang Raina among others.

Kalki Koechlin was also seen attending Aaliyah’s wedding festivities. Kalki shared her look for the event and captioned it, “Mehendi taiyyari.” Kalki also reacted to Aaliyah’s post and wrote in the comment section, “Look at you, from a kid I used to read stories to, to a solid woman who has her own stories to tell. Love you💪🏻💖✨.”

Anurag was also seen enjoying a candid moment with the paparazzi stationed outside the venue and when he was asked to pose in front of the venue, Anurag joked, “Abe yaar, hosh nahi hai mereko chaar din se (I am not in my senses for the past four days)”.
