Imran Khan’s girlfriend Lekha Washington says they are ‘mutually madly in love’, calls it ‘a rare gift in today’s cynical world’

Imran Khan’s rumoured comeback to the industry has intrigued an interest in his personal as well as professional life, bringing him under the spotlight again. Recently, the actor opened up about his girlfriend, artist Lekha Washington, and now, Lekha has spoken about them being “madly in love” with each other. Lekha revealed that what she likes the most about them as a couple is their ability to communicate and grow into better versions of themselves.

While talking to Money Control, Lekha shared that their relationship is a rare gift in today’s cynical world. She said, “In this cynical world, to live and grow together with someone whilst being mutually madly in love is a rare gift. It is also hard work.” She further added, “The part that I cherish the most is our ability to talk things through and evolve into, hopefully, better versions of ourselves. The excellent posterior is a bonus!”

Last month, the duo was spotted together after a screening of the film Khwaabon Ka Jhamela. In the pictures, Lekha was seen looking at Imran in an adorable way, while he held her hand while heading out together. For the unknown, Imran and Lekha started dating each other during the pandemic.

In an earlier interview with comedian Raunaq Rajani on his YouTube channel, Imran had talked about his relationship with Lekha and said, “Covid is when we started seeing each other. She brought up moving in together! So, I was like, ‘Why not? It’s been long enough’.” The couple made their relationship official on social media when they attended Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira’s wedding together.

On the professional front, Lekha Washington has acted in several Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi language films. She has now successfully transitioned into a thriving artist. Imran Khan is gearing up for his comeback but he is yet to announce his comeback project.
