‘Humshakals’ actress Tamannaah Bhatia loses weight for period film ‘Baahubali’

Tamannaah Bhatia is currently busy shooting for period film, ‘Baahubali’, where she will be seen playing the role of Avanthika.

Tamaanaah has to put in quite a bit of effort for the character and was even asked to lose 6 kgs.

Southern beauty Tamannaah Bhatia has not had too much luck since her foray into Bollywood with films like ‘Humshakals’ and ‘It’s Entertainment’. However, the actress is now gearing up for yet another film.

The actress is currently busy shooting for period film, ‘Baahubali’, where she will be seen playing the role of Avanthika.

Reportedly, Tamaanaah has to put in quite a bit of effort for the character and was even asked to lose 6 kgs for her role by director Rajamouli, which she achieved by following a strict diet and fitness regime.

‘Baahubali’ will also see Tamannaah perform quite a few risky stunts including some archery and horse riding.

Slated to hit screens next year, ‘Baahubali’ will release in Tamil and Telugu, but will also be dubbed in Hindi and other languages.
