Shahid Kapoor has been prepping hard for the role and is trying to get into the skin of the character. For the character Charlie in ‘Kaminey’ Shahid worked with his trainer for almost eight months to get a chiseled body and he also shaved off his head for the critically acclaimed ‘Haider’. This time, the actor is growing his beard.

Shahid’s spokesperson confirmed the news saying, “There was a lot of pressure on him to hold off growing it but he doesn’t like paste-up jobs and wants to be ready with a beard of his own when the film rolls in October. He’s really excited about reuniting with Vishal again.”

‘Rangoon’ is a movie that Vishal Bhardwaj has been nurturing for the last seven years.
