Govinda’s wife Sunita offers 750 ml Royal Stag at temple: ‘Sab sochega hum hi bevdi hai’

Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja has given many interviews in the past year where she spoke candidly about her husband and children. Through all of this, she kept hinting that she was going to start a YouTube channel. Sunita recently shared her first vlog on YouTube where she visited a few temples in Chandigarh. After visiting Mahakali temple, which is nestled inside a forest-like area, she visited a liquor shop to buy a few bottles of alcohol for her next stop, Kaal Bhairav Baba temple.

As Sunita made her stop and bought two bottles, she shared, “Those bottles weren’t for me, they were for Baba.” She added, “Don’t think I am buying this for myself. This is for the second temple and I will offer them as prayer there.” She then joked, “Sab sochega hum hi bevdi hai (Everyone will think I am a drunk). They must be thinking I am drinking but this is not for me, this is for god.”

She gave her viewers a glimpse of the temple and offered a bhog of alcohol. She then asked the priest and his son why alcohol is offered at the temple and was told, ‘Because Baba would drink this and destroy all the evil demons.”

Sunita, in the same video, also visited another temple where she shared that she first prayed to be Govinda’s wife when she fell in love with him as a teenager. She broke down as she recalled those days and shared that the goddess blessed her with a successful husband and two lovely children. In another part of the video, Sunita also spoke about how the world has been spreading ‘bakwas’ about her relationship with Govinda and her intention with starting her own YouTube channel is to clear the air.

Sunita and Govinda have been married since 1987. They are parents to son Yashvardan Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja.
