Gal Gadot calls Alia Bhatt her ‘buddy, sister’, says she’s ‘super ready’ for Hollywood: ‘It’s going to be smooth for her’

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Gal Gadot said she shares a lot in common with Alia Bhatt and especially admires her “cut the bullsh*t” attitude. “We share so much in common. From the very first time we met, I felt we connected. Not just because both of us are from different countries and English is not our native language and the culture we come from is very different, but she brings a lot of warmth with her. Also, a lot of, if I can say, cut the bullsh*t attitude. She’s always blunt. For me, as an Israeli, it’s delightful. You get what you see.”

The Hollywood star said Alia doesn’t need any word of “advice” as the actor already comes with a decade-long experience of working in the Hindi film industry, where she is a “massive” star.

“She comes with such experience, working for over a decade in India. And India, you guys are massive! So she knows how to handle the heat. Breaking into the American market is going to be a smooth, healthy evolution or transition for Alia. I think she’s super ready. If she ever needs anything, she’s my buddy, she’s my sister, she has my number, she has my address. I’m always here for her,” Gal said.

Alia recently opened up about the biggest challenge she faced while filming Heart of Stone, which also stars Jamie Dornan. In an interview with Toronto Sun, Alia was quoted as saying, “I have to say on day one, because I’m so used to speaking in Hindi, suddenly on day one speaking in English was weird. Even though I speak in English most of the time, but acting in English suddenly felt a bit strange.”

Alia Bhatt is currently seen on the big screen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The Karan Johar directorial, which also stars Ranveer Singh, is Alia’s third consecutive Hindi film to cross Rs 100 crore mark after Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra.
