Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel-starrer Gadar 2 is much awaited; it is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar. The makers of Gadar 2, on Friday, released a new motion poster of the film, which showed Sunny Deol's character making a run with his onscreen son, played by Utkarsh Sharma. The poster shows the father-son duo running as bullets rain on them from all sides. They seem to be running across the India-Pakistan border. The poster also shows the line, "A father's love knows no boundaries". Gadar 2 is coming on the big screen on this Independence Day. In Cinemas from August 11)." Followers didn't shy away from expressing their excitement for the film. A follower commented, "I am very excited for Gadar 2 movie", another one wrote, "Poster itne khatarnak hai toh film kya hogi (If poster is so dangerous, then imagine how the film will be)." The movie is directed by Anil Sharma and produced by Zee Studios. Gadar was a blockbuster upon its release. The film showed lovers Tara and Sakeena who get separated during the Partition as Sakeena’s parents take her to Pakistan. The sequel in set in Lahore during the year 1971 where Tara finds himself in the middle of ‘Crush India movement’. The details of the story are yet to be known. Gadar 2 will release in theatres on August 11.
