Fast X becomes first Hollywood film to earn Rs 100 cr in India this year, to eclipse Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan earning
Fast X saw its Hindi version perform better than the English, with the former pulling in approximately Rs 54 crores gross while the English version collected around Rs 52 crores.

Hollywood star Vin Diesel-led actioner Fast X has crossed Rs 100 crores gross at the Indian box office in ten days of its release. Fast X, which recorded the best Hollywood opener of the year in India, has now become the first Hollywood movie of the year to gross over Rs 100 cr.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Fast X, the 10th instalment in the long-running Fast & Furious franchise, crossed the century mark on its second Saturday, taking the total collection to around 105 crores after 10 days.
Directed by Louis Leterrier, Fast X saw its Hindi version perform better than the English, with the former pulling in approximately Rs 54 crores gross while the English version collected around 52 crores through the second Sunday. The film’s Tamil and Telugu version has earned over 6 crores, the industry tracker noted.
Fast X’s nett collection stand at Rs 93.50 crores in all languages and is now likely to surpass Farhad Samji’s Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s India nett collections of Rs 109.29 crore.
Fast X could be the best performing instalment in the country after Furious 7 in 2015, which had made Rs 108 crore in India. At the global box office front, Fast X topped $500 million on Sunday, earning $108 million domestically in North America and over $399 million internationally.
The Fast saga began over two decades ago with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker playing two guys on either side of the law. The latest installment also features a plethora of stars, ranging from Brie Larson to John Cena and Jason Statham.
