Efforts should be taken to preserve Kashmiri culture: Rahul Bhat

"Ugly" star Rahul Bhat feels the roots of Kashmiri culture should be strengthened by the youth.

“Ugly” star Rahul Bhat feels the roots of Kashmiri culture should be strengthened by the youth.

“Kashmiri Pandit race is slowly coming to an end and this is a truth and our effort should be focused on how to survive this culture”, Bhat, who himself is a Kashmiri Pandit, told reporters here.

“The culture remains only alive when you strengthen the roots of art, culture and heritage. I feel that there is a need to take more steps in this direction. If we have to save our culture, we will have to focus on that.”

Bhat, who will be next seen in “Fitoor”, “Jai Gangaajal” and “Aur Devdas”, is said to begin shooting for a short film in the valley.

“I have not come here to sell false dreams to KPs. But my focus is only to strengthen the roots of culture and heritage of the community.”
