Speechless Diljit Dosanjh reacts to Shah Rukh Khan calling him the ‘best actor’ in the country: ‘Mood mai honge’

On the The Great Indian Kapil Show, Imtiaz Ali heaped praise on Diljit Dosanjh and recalled what Shah Rukh Khan said about him.

Imtiaz Ali, Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra, who are currently promoting their film Amar Singh Chamkila, graced the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Host Kapil Sharma and the trio got everyone laughing with their funny antics. Imtiaz was all praise for Diljit and said that Amar Singh Chamkila would not have been possible without him.

When asked about casting Diljit, Imtiaz said, “Shah Rukh Khan told me ‘The best actor in the country in Diljit.’ Diljit was amused after listening to this statement. He then said, “Shayad mood mai honge.” Imtiaz continued, “If Diljit had declined this role, then maybe the film would have never been made. We have been very lucky. We couldn’t have had a better cast. Both of them.”

During the promotions of Dilwale in 2015, Shah Rukh Khan had heaped praise on Diljit Dosanjh. He had said, “Main aapki films dekh chuka hun, main aapka bahut bada fan hun. Aur aap jo acting karte ho, voh extremely world class hai. Main aise hi aapke saamne nahi bol raha (I have seen your films and I am a big fan. The acting you do, is truly world class. I am not just saying this because I’m sitting in front of you).”

SRK added, “Diljit, I love you from the core of my mind.” Reacting to the same, Diljit had said, “Hayo rabba.” In 2017, Diljit gave vocals for SRK in Jab Harry Met Sejal song “Raula”.
