As per reports, Shraddha and Rahul have been dating for some time now. The couple seem to have gotten close while they worked together on the film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Even though Shraddha and Rahul have wanted to keep their relationship private, the two grabbed a lot of attention when they were spotted together in Jamnagar at Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations earlier this year.

In 2023, Rahul and Shraddha were also spotted on a dinner date. Rahul, who co-wrote Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, was a good friend of Shraddha’s even before they worked together on TJMM. What further fueled speculations was Shraddha wearing an ‘R’ alphabet locket during one of her public appearances. She was previously said to be dating photographer Rohan Shreshtha.

On the work front, Shraddha has Stree 2 coming up. The film will be released in theatres in August, and continues Maddock’s shared universe of horror comedy movies, following the surprise hit Munjya.

Who is Rahul Mody?

Rahul is a producer-writer, who has been a frequent collaborator of filmmaker Luv Ranjan. With him, Rahul Mody has co-written hits like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. According to industry insiders, it was on the sets of the 2023 film where Shraddha met Rahul.

Reportedly, Shraddha had come into Tu Jhooti Mein Makkar while she was dealing with her breakup with photographer Rohan Shrestha. Rahul and Shraddha started actor-writer collaborator and soon became close friends.

Rahul Mody keeps a low profile in the media and was hardly seen at social events in the city. During the promotions of Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar, Rahul had made his rare public appearance where he interacted with the media, but wasn’t spotted with Shraddha.

Rahul, who also runs a production house, has multiple projects in developments, one of which is said to be headlined by Shraddha Kapoor. The film is touted to be a drama and Shraddha will soon be taking a call as to when can she begin the movie.
