Deepika Padukone to wear a 20 kg armour in ‘Bajirao Mastani’

For the sword wielding sequence in 'Bajirao Mastani', Deepika Padukone is, reportedly, expected to wear a 20 kg armour.

Deepika Padukone is taking up new things these days. First there were reports that she will be seen doing some sword wielding in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and now rumour has it that this is going to be a bit heavy on her part.

For the sword wielding sequence, the dimpled actress is, reportedly, expected to wear a 20 kg armour.

Earlier also for Bhansali’s ‘Ram-Leela’, Deepika had worn a 30 kg lehenga. The actress is also said to have been taking lessons in sword fighting and martial arts.

‘Bajirao Mastani’ is a story based on the life of Maratha Warrior Peshwa Baji Rao. The movie also features Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Aditya Pancholi, who will play the antagonist in the film.
