Deepika Padukone shares post about ‘mums who gave birth in 2024’: ‘Your body grew, birthed a whole human’

On Wednesday, Deepika reposted a note on his Instagram story. The post read, “Mums who gave birth in 2024 Rembert this…When you see everyone’s highlight reel at the end of the year, remember your body GREW and BIRTHED a whole human this year! NOTHING tops that…”

Reacting to the post, Deepika wrote ‘Amen’.

In an earlier conversation, Deepika had discussed her experiences with postpartum challenges, including feeling sleep-deprived, burnt out and stressed.

“When you are sleep-deprived or burnt out the decisions that you make and I think sometimes I can actually feel it. I know on particular days when I am feeling stressed or burnt out because I haven’t slept enough or practice my self-care rituals…I can tell that my decision-making is getting affected to some extent,” shared Deepika during an interaction with an entrepreneur for a series on World Mental Health Day 2024.

On Tuesday night, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were spotted together at Mumbai airport. The couple reportedly travelled to the Maldives to celebrate Deepika’s 39th birthday, which was on January 5. Ranveer and Deepika were also joined by their daughter, Dua Singh Padukone, who was sleeping in the car and the doting parents made sure that she is not disturbed.
