After tying the knot in Italy on November 14 and 15, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are currently in Bengaluru to host their first wedding reception at The Leela Palace. The two made a star appearance looking like a perfect royal couple.

Newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh looked every bit a royal couple in the first photo from their Bengaluru reception. The photo was shared by Deepika on her Instagram handle. The couple later also greeted the media at the reception.

In the photo, Deepika, dressed in a golden saree, is sitting, while Ranveer is, in a black sherwani, standing beside her. What’s striking is Deepika’s heavy jewellery and the sindoor, which shines from her tightly tied hair. Reportedly wearing Sabyasachi Mukherjee creations, the two look like a royal couple.

Deepika herself paid attention to every detail of the arrangements at the Bengaluru gala. The who’s who of the Kannada film industry including actors like Upendra, Sudeep, Puneeth Rajkumar, Yash and Ambareesh are expected to attend the big reception. A source also revealed that Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy will also come to bless the couple.

On Tuesday, the star couple flooded social media by sharing photos from their marriage functions – the mehendi, the Konkani wedding and the north Indian nuptial, leaving fans asking for more.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh returned to Mumbai from Italy on November 18 and later left for Bengaluru on November 20.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has withdrawn the Income Tax Bill, 2025 from the Lok Sabha and will introduce an updated version on August 11. The updated version will incorporate most of the recommendations made by the Select Committee, including continuing tax exemption on anonymous donations to religious-cum-charitable trusts.
