BTS’ member J-Hope aka Hobi, became the second member to begin his mandatory 18-month military service, following Jin’s enlistment. According to reports, J-Hope is serving in the Baekho New Corps of the 36th Infantry Division. J-Hope, who has been less active on social media, recently shared pictures in military uniform.

In the latest picture doing the rounds on the internet, J-Hope was seen wearing his military uniform and posing with another soldier. Fans are excited about how good he looks and the pose he struck in the photo. One of the fans wrote, “making the military uniform look like high fashion??? only Jung Hoseok can relate.”

Explaining the picture, a fan account dedicated to J-Hope wrote, “This photo is from the ig of hobi’s sunbae assistant drill instructor who got discharged yesterday. as u can see, both of them are wearing 조교모자 (hats for assistant drill instructors). he posted this photo with a very sweet message for hobi.”

They continued, “hoseokie hyung who brought me unforgettable, precious memories..I was motivated by you and feel so grateful for the time we had. Wish u stay safe for the rest of your service and discharge without being injured. Will be always rooting for u.”

J-Hope began his military service in February of this year. On February 26, BIGHIT Music posted an announcement on BTS’ official Weverse account. They wrote, “This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We would like to inform our fans that j-hope has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement. We will inform you of further updates in due course.”

The next BTS member to go for military service is Suga. In August, it was announced that he applied to start his enlistment process by ending his deferment.
