Secret Superstar box office collection Day 2: Aamir Khan film sees remarkable growth, earns Rs 9.30 crore
Secret Superstar box office collection Day 2: The film has raked in Rs 9.30 crore witnessing a remarkable jump at the box office. The film's collection almost doubled on Friday, taking the total collection to Rs 14.10 crore.

The Aamir Khan-Zaira Wasim movie Secret Superstar hit the theaters on the festival of Diwali and still managed to mint Rs 4.80 crore on Day 1. The movie beautifully portrayed the significance of dreams and motivated people to aim towards achieving them by breaking away from the shackles of a conservative society. First time director Advait Chauhan succeeded in pulling the audiences to the theaters with this content-driven drama. And now on the second day of its release, the movie has witnessed a considerable growth in its box office collection. With Rs 9.30 crore coming in its kitty on Friday, the total collection has doubled from what it was on day one.
In the words of trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, “#SecretSuperstar biz almost doubles on Fri… REMARKABLE GROWTH… Thu 4.80 cr, Fri 9.30 cr. Total: ₹ 14.10 cr. India biz.”

Dangal girl Zaira Wasim who plays the lead role of a teenage girl Insiya has stunned all with her ace acting skills. The audience is of the view that she overshadowed Aamir Khan in the movie. Even Indian Express critic Shubhra Gupta was all praises for the 16-year-old actor as in her review she wrote, “We are left with young Insiya and her shining face, and a beacon of hope for herself and girls in similar difficult situations. I liked her enormously, and Wasim plays her with great brio, a mix of sparkle and tentativeness.”
The film produced by Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao opened in the theaters a day before Rohit Shetty’s masala-comedy Golmaal Again hit the screens. But being of two completely different genres, there are chances that the films might not affect each other’s business at the ticket counters.
