Ayesha Khan, who was recently seen in Dhurandhar in the song ‘Shararat’, has opened up about the time when she was asked to get her nose fixed if she wanted to get more work. Ayesha was seen in Jaat earlier this year, and is now looking forward to the release of Kapil Sharma-starrer Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2. Ayesha said that she is quite secure about the way she looks and revealed that such kind of negative comments often come from those who don’t have a say in putting projects together.
Speaking to Galatta India, Ayesha said, “I never had a director tell me this. It was always a coordinator, or some random person, who was telling me this. One person told me, ‘You need to change your nose’ and I was like, ‘What is that comment even?’ Firstly, I love my nose and I feel I have a beautiful nose, and secondly, who are you to tell me that I need to change my nose.” Ayesha added, “These are the kind of people who have nothing better to do with their lives. What else are they going to do?”
Ayesha said that she was told that she was going to get selected for the project but they also said something negative about her appearance. “Then they told me that since this is a horror film, it’s fine; otherwise, you would have to get your teeth changed. And I was there thinking, ‘Did he just say that?’ I was so happy, smiling before that,” she said.
In Dhurandhar, Ayesha shares screen space with Krystle D’Souza in the dance number ‘Shararat’. She shared a social media post thanking director Aditya Dhar which read, “Am I a part of ‘DHURANDAR’??? Someone please pinch me!!! Watched the movie yesterday and I have no words to describe the world that @adityadharfilms has created!! 15 minutes in the Film and you forget that the ‘ACTORS’ are ‘STARS’ All you see is the world and the characters Aditya sir and team has built!! @mukeshchhabracc forever grateful, Thank you for making me a part of this!!”
