Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again advance booking day one: Ajay Devgn-starrer targets Rs 35 crore opening, Kartik Aaryan’s film eyes Rs 25 cr

The film has sold 63,317 tickets and has grossed Rs 1.69 crore crore in sales. The top-performing belt for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is currently Gujarat, with 50 almost houseful shows from 965 shows opened so far.

Singham Again has recorded a spike in its showcasing since Tuesday. Director Rohit Shetty’s action drama has now opened advance bookings for 4041 shows, selling 25,638 tickets and grossing Rs 75.36 lakh. Though Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 leads in terms of ticket sales, but this is only because Singham Again was yet to open its full-fledged advance till Tuesday.

In terms of showcasing, the cop-actioner has garnered a terrific response even in limited capacity in Maharashtra, on 987 shows. Maharashtra has been one of the best-performing states for the Singham franchise.

At the all-India level, the screen ratio will be 60:40 between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, respectively. As per current trends, the trade is predicting Singham Again to open in the range of Rs 35 cr while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is looking to open in the range of Rs 23-25 cr.

Singham Again is the third film in the Singham franchise and also stars Kareena Kapoor and features cameos by Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The film will also have a special appearance by Salman Khan, who is set to be seen as Chulbul Pandey– his cop character from the Dabangg series.
