Netflix unveiled the trailer of its crime drama, Bhakshak, headlined by Bhumi Pednekar, on Wednesday. The makers claim that the film is based on true events. The trailer gives an insight into Vaishali's fight for justice for the young girls. She is assisted by Sanjay Mishra in her battle against Bansi Sahu, ably played by actor Aditya Srivastava. Bhumi tries to play Vaishali authentically, and her accent indicates that the story is set in Bihar.
