Baida teaser: New sci-fi supernatural thriller ventures into a ‘dark’ world

Directed by Puneet Sharma, the makers shared that Baida is ‘a tale of illusion’ that portrays the protagonist’s standoff with a sinister power, wherein he traverses through different places and dimensions in a relentless quest for survival’.

Baida is set to see actors Hiten Tejwani and Sourabh Raaj Jain portraying characters unlike any of their previous appearances. The film also stars Shobhit Sujay, Manisha Rai, and Akhlaq Ahmad Azad.

Puneet shared in a statement, “Baida is an ensemble of an intriguing and engaging storyline, dotted with powerful characters that would leave an indelible mark on the cine goers.”

The makers had earlier revealed that Baida is based on one of the most popular stories penned by Sudhanshu Rai and a major portion of the film is set in India’s Hindi Heartland, was shot near Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.

The supernatural thriller Baida is set to release in cinemas on March 21.
