Badass Ravi Kumar trailer: Himesh Reshammiya makes his comeback to films with Badass Ravi Kumar

Badass Ravi Kumar will hit screens on February 7.

Singer-turned-actor Himesh Reshammiya is returning to the big screen after five years with his film Badass Ravi Kumar. The action entertainer’s trailer, which was released today, promises an ’80s type ki picture’ with over-the-top performances, dialogues, action sequences, and even costumes.

Badass Ravi Kumar is being touted as a retro-action musical. In this film, Himesh will be seen reprising his role of Ravi Kumar from The Xpose. While Kriti Kulhari is seen as the leading lady, Prabhu Deva plays the villain.

Fans have been calling the film the ‘epitome of cringe.’ Reacting to the trailer, a netizen commented, “Ye movie miss maat karna 100 saal me 1 hi bar banti hai aisi movies (Don’t miss this movie, they are made once in 100 years).” Another fan wrote, “No Pushpa, No Sikandar, No Toxic, No War 2, Only Badass Ravikumar.” Yet another comment read, “Hollywood has Tom Cruise, Bollywood has Badass Ravi Kumar.”

Badass Ravi Kumar is directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies. The film releases in theaters on February 7, 2025.
