*Spoilers Ahead*

The Ba***ds of Bollywood title meaning

The Ba***ds of Bollywood follows the story of actor Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya), whose first film becomes a hit and is now a star. He then signs a movie with filmmaker Karan Johar, alongside Karishma Talwar (played by Sahher Bamba), daughter of superstar Ajay Talwar (Bobby Deol). In the final episode of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, a major plot twist is revealed when Ajay and Aasmaan’s hidden familial connection comes to light. A scene also shows producer Freddi Sodahwallah (Manish Chaudhari) and his new partner Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi) blackmailing Ajay Talvar using the secret. They force him to do a film for them, also featuring Karishma and Aasmaan. “We will make India’s biggest family drama,” says Freddie, after which the title is revealed: The Bastards of Bollywood. The scene also hints at a possible continuation of the story in season 2, though Netflix has yet to officially greenlight it.

The Ba***ds of Bollywood ending explained

In episode 7, Aasmaan and Karishma, having fallen in love, share their decision of eloping only with Aasmaan’s mom Neeta (Mona Singh). However, Ajay descends at the venue to spoil the moment. As the two start fighting, Neeta stops them and emotionally tells Aasmaan that Ajay is his father, making Karishma his half-sister. There’s also a flashback shown where Neeta and Ajay came close while shooting for Sailaab together 26 years ago, when Ajay was a young actor and Neeta was a background dancer. The twist means that Karishma and Aasman’s wedding does not happen eventually, and the couple decides to stay friends. On the other hand, Freddi Sodahwallah uses their secret for his own benefit.

Created and directed by Aryan Khan, The Ba***ds of Bollywood has been produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The show also features Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Gautami Kapoor, and Divik Sharma in key roles. It is currently streaming on Netflix.
