For the first time in many years there was no birthday celebration with Hrithik and Suzanne Roshan as Arjun Rampal turned 40 on November 26.

The absence of camaraderie among some of Bollywood’s most glamorous wives has now come out in the open.

An actress close to all three couple says,”Mehr Rampal,Suzanne Roshan and Gauri Khan were a closely-knit unit of star-wives. For reasons that are too complicated and too frightening to be discussed,they are no longer friends. Understandably their husbands too have ceased to be friends.”

Arjun therefore brought in his birthday with his immediate family.

Said the actor,”It was a very quiet bringing-in of the day for me. Just the immediate family me. Then a dinner on 26th night. That’s it. Happiness now means spending time with my wife and daughters. I’ve left partying behind me.”

40,he added,was just a number.
