Anushka Sharma, who welcomed her second child, Akaay, in February, had been away from social media for a couple of months. The actress, who also has a daughter Vaamika with Virat Kohli, on Thursday, posted a candid picture of herself smiling and looking radiant, on Instagram. Virat returned to India recently after they spent some time together as a family after their son’s birth.

In the latest picture of Anushka, which is an ad for a smartphone brand, Anushka looks happy as she radiates a bright smile. Seated on a cushion, in what looks like a balcony with greenery, the actress-producer is dressed in an oversized white shirt, paired with a pair of blue denims. Giving a peek into what’s been keeping her busy, she wrote, “Morning sun and some reading time on my #OnePlusOpen — what better way to kickstart the day,” in the caption.

Naturally, her fans were delighted and wasted no time in reacting to the Bang Baaja Baaraat actress’ post. “Anushka Bhabhi” commented a fan while another one wrote, “Saara Shahar mein aapsa koi nahin (sic).” “Looks awesome” commented a user.

Anushka and Virat have been living away from the spotlight for a while now. Virat, who returned to India for the IPL, reflected on his two-month break from media attention and cricket. “We were not in the country. We were at a place where people were not recognising us. Just time together as a family, just to feel normal for two months,” Kohli said at the post-match presentation ceremony, adding, “For me, for us as a family, it was a surreal experience,” he said after a stellar 77-run knock against Punjab Kings during the ongoing IPL match.
