Anupam Kher’s Mumbai office robbed: ‘Two thieves stole entire safe, a film’s negative’

Anupam Kher took to his Instagram handle to share a video of the broken door of his office and said that two thieves stole his safe and a film's negative on Wednesday night.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently became a victim of robbery. On Thursday, the Hum Apke Hai Kaun actor took to his Instagram handle to inform his followers about the robbery that took place at his office in Veera Desai Road in Mumbai. The actor shared a video of the broken door, claiming his staff took the video right before informing the police.

Anupam shared a long note along with the video of the broken door on his Instagram handle. Detailing the robbery, the Uunchai actor wrote, “Last night, two thieves broke two doors of my office at the Veera Desai Road and stole the entire safe from the Accounts Department (which probably they couldn’t break) and negative of a film produced by our company which was in a box. Our staff has got an FIR done.”

He added, “Police have assured thieves will be caught very soon as the CCTV of our office has recorded the thieves leaving in an auto with the stolen items. May God give them wisdom. This video was made by my staff before the police came!”

Anupam’s post caught the attention of his fans who showed concern in the comments section. A user wrote, “Don’t worry sir… everything will be fine”, “Mumbai no more safe”, and “Hope you get back what you have lost,” among others.

Anupam Kher is quite casual and open about his daily life with his fans, often sharing anecdotes from his life on his social media handles. The actor was last seen in the film Chhota Bheem and The Curse of Damyaan.
